SAAPS PROJECTS

The 2004-2006 SAAPS council was elected in September 2004. It launched a range of projects, emphasising the Association’s foci on encouragement and facilitation of emerging scholarship, research and publication, and building membership through seminars and think tanks.
The President of SAAPS is Professor Susan Booysen. She welcomes enquiries and proposals with regard to any of the projects below.

The SAAPS projects are organised in terms of three clusters:
- RESEARCH AND PUBLICATION
- ENCOURAGEMENT AND FACILITATION OF EMERGING SCHOLARSHIP
- MEMBERSHIP, NETWORKING AND EMPOWERMENT
The clustering is for practical purposes; note that there is significant inter-cluster articulation.
