Activities
The website will be hosting details about SAAPS projects and forthcoming events, the membership newsletter, and links to sister and associated organisations. It will also contain essential information about SAAPS.
MEMBERSHIP RECRUITMENT
Objective
A concerted membership recruitment drive through sector-specific targeting and membership recruitment through regional and other chapters of the Association.

Activities
The recruitment drive will have a special emphasis on supplementing the current largely academic membership through recruitment in the sectors of civil servants, social scientists from sister disciplines, independent political analysts, and political scientists and other social science scholars residing outside South Africa. The emphasis will be on those scholars who are specialists on South Africa and the African-Southern African region.

Activities
Regional (intra-South Africa) Chapters of SAAPS will be established in order to further the aims and objectives of SAAPS across South Africa. These aims and objectives are captured in both the Objectives and Vision of the Association, and in the projects that have been adopted by SAAPS.
